First, you need to find a bed. You can find beds by going upstairs or by breaking a block of dirt and grass blocks. When you are on top the bed, press E – this will make your character lie down on it. It’s important not to stand on the bed because doing so won’t let you lay down and have enough room for food.
How to Eat at Minecraft
Now that you have found a bed, you are ready to eat food. The food items you are about to eat are given to you by The Chef. He will provide you with food based on what you said you’d like to eat and then drop it on top of the bed.
If you want to make sure that you eat it, the Chef will drop a small coin on the bed to alert you that it is there. The Chef will also say something in cryptic language in red and block in green when you speak to him.
If you miss the little bit of pink you can just tap the coin to try again. The Chef will sometimes appear on top of a block of dirt and grass, this is where he likes to hang out. For now, you can skip this step and just look at the Chef. Here is a quick video of how you can use the Block Picker and Food picker.

This is a great way to eat berries and produce in a quick manner! Candy Candy is scattered around. It’s great for Minecraft in general, but can also be used to get food items you’re in the mood for. Bread Minecraft lets you cook meat at home, but I personally found it more practical to cook bread.
After you make your wheat bread, you can add eggs, milk, and meat to it. I cook my bread after I make a few eggs and milk. Then put the ingredients into a cup and place it on a surface. Lastly, I pour my concoction onto the surface and leave it to bake.
Picks for You:
Meat and fish
The meat you eat is the skin of animals like cows and rabbits. The skin of a cow contains minerals that you can add to your water and make a potion to use in your water bag so that it can be turned into diamonds.
The meat is good for your health and will last much longer than bread. Fish is great because it lasts for a long time (2 hours) and is nutritious. You can get fish by swimming to the ocean, pulling on the string, and waiting.
Chocolate and cooking Chocolate is made from nuts (which come from trees) and milk. The milk is easy to get and can be found all around Minecraft.
Choco bars can be eaten as snacks and they last longer than bread. Cooking is the only way to make meat. Cook a steak (heart of meat) in a metal pot over a fire (coal or wood).
