Guide On Where To Crouch Behind Barrier In Fortnite
To be able to complete the challenge of crouching behind a barrier in Fortnite Chapter 1 of season 3, you need to find a barrier with a Gears of War logo. The barriers that have these logos imprinted on them are located in five places in the game. The barrier has a red gear with a red skull inside the Gear logo painted on the concrete barrier.
The five locations where these barriers can be found include; Greasy Grove, Logjam Lumberyard, Sleepy Sound, Condo Canyon, and Coney Crossroads. Completing this challenge of crouching behind a barrier in Fortnite might not be an easy task, that is why we included a guide on how to go about it.
How To Crouch Behind Barrier In Fortnite
The Fortnite gamer would have to use their game character and walk by one of the barriers with the Gears of War logo imprinted on it and then crouch behind it. The purpose of the barrier is to take cover from the opponents in the Fortnite game. It is important to note that crouching behind the barrier while approaching it does not complete the task. The gamer would have to crouch beside it in order to complete the challenge.
Here are some gaming controls that can be used to crouch behind the barriers:
- If you are a PC gamer, the default key that can be used to crouch behind a barrier is CTRL. When you reach beside the barrier and press the left CTRL key, you would crouch behind it.
- If you are an Xbox Fortnite gamer, you can crouch behind a barrier by hitting the LB button. This button is the left joystick, and when held down, it will allow your Fortnite character to crouch down and move around more easily.
- Playstation gamers can, however, press the L1 button to crouch behind a barrier.
It is important to note that when you crouch in front of a barrier a few times, you challenge progress. The Fortnite gamer can then leave the match after that in order to get to the next quest in the game.
A gamer would be rewarded with 20,00000 XP for being able to unlock their next challenge after completing the “crouching behind the barrier challenge.” When a gamer is done completing all the five challenges, the Crimson Omen Spray would be unlocked. In addition to the Crimson Spray, the Fortnite gamer would get a reward of 100,000 XP.
