3. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds
The game, currently in beta mode, is third in the most watched list. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) has so far been downloaded more than 100 million times. The game launched on Steam’s Early Access program in March of this year. YouTube figures are based on the volume of views, combined with a natural growth rate based on traffic and duration of a video’s engagement.
The availability of YouTube accounts for each creator is also taken into consideration. Game marketing strategist Ethan Epstein says that newer gamers are opting for YouTube and that streamers are increasingly being featured as Play Store games of the day.
